Based on nano-catalyst application technology, we purify air where food is stored. 

Without ethylene gas ( an aging hormone fruits and veggies emit themselves), and without airborne bacteria and mold, it is possible to extend the shelf-life safely and effectively. 

PURESPACE way of extending shelf-life is very safe on consumers, because we do not treat any coatings directly on fresh products. Our way is simply to purify air where fruits and veggies are stored.

Ethylene serves as a hormone in plants. It acts at trace levels throughout the life of the plant by stimulating or regulating the ripening of fruit. Ethylene accumulation in storage area promotes the deterioration of quality of fruits and veggies by generally decreasing harness, sweetness(BRIX), and size. Extension of shelf-life can be safely achieved by decomposing ethylene gas.


When using PURESPACE device, ethylene can be removed at least three times faster than existing technology without ozone emission which makes the system very safe.

Mold

Various molds such as Botrytis cinerea , penicillium , Asperfillus brasiliensis can be decomposed.

Commerciality is dramatically lost during storage and shipment due to mold spread. Current methods such as the surface disinfection or photocatalyst do not completely eradicate airborne mold. When using PURESPACE device, it can effectively remove mold to prevent mold spread.

In addition to mold, Foodborn disease or food poisoning can be prevented by sterilizing pathogens such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, and MRSA; thus food safety can be greatly improved with PURESPACE.
